Cleveland Way

Saltburn Viaduct as seen on Cleveland Way The Cleveland Way is the 108 mile National Trail that skirts the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The route stretches from Helmsley and the White Horse in the west across the Moors to the dramatic coastline from Saltburn to Filey, offering panoramic views of the countryside and coast.

Huntcliff at Saltburn The Cleveland Way passes through Rifts Wood coming from Guisborough and making its way onto Huntcliff to Whitby. Huntcliff has a vast sea bird colony that can be viewed at low tide - the sea can come in very quickly so care must be taken. Tide times can be obtained from the tourist information centre.
